Procuring of Fabrics and Material

What is it?
Alexander Fashions buys fabrics of your choice even from your selected supplier.The fabric is charged as part of the tailoring job and a small margin is added to our cost. To offset the margin on the fabric, Alexander Fashions will discount the frame price.
Why we do it? • Alexander Fashions operates in a Theory of Constraints environment.
• This means that the factory will not start a job until all materials are in Alexander Fashions’ control.
• When Alexander Fashions controls all material procurement, the factory can operate more efficiently vs. waiting for materials before commencing work.
